Healthy Families Project currently has a Parent Partner Program providing service to Lancaster County and the Region V area. HFP utilizes parent peer-mentors (Parent Partners) to work with other parents in the process to help them help their families. The Parent Partners work both with families who have professional services in place and those who are trying to locate services and supports for their families. The parent partners work with families who are referred to the Mentoring Program either through personal referrals or from professional service providers, both within the wraparound process and without the wraparound process, to help find community resources and supports.
